I just bought iPad 2 yesterday, unfortunately it has no FaceTime application, it seems like United Arab Emirates isn't compatible for FaceTime application. Cheers.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

Yes - you're right - several other Members from your country have noted the absence of FaceTime. Apple abide by the national laws and regulations in force in the countries in which they market the iPad and there are several variants in the supplied software from country to country.

I have an iPad1 and that doesn't even have a camera...so there's no FaceTime app on my model either..

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your response, it's indeed sad to not have the FaceTime apps, as I intended to use that apps to chat with my wifey, however Skype cover this problem as Hayles66 mentioned. Well, look forward to see more n more useful information from other members.
