Help with non apple camera connection kit

Hi,
I purchased a set of adaptors and case through a dail deal website.
The camera connection kit has an SD card and USB option and another adaptor for up to three USB sticks.
However, once plugged in it says that apple does not support this device.
I'm expecting that I've wasted my money Alness anyone can advice me around this.
I think the brand is Kallin

After you dismiss the error screen, does anything happen? I have an actual Apple made HDMI cable/mirroring kit that gives my 3 the same error(which until I updated to OS 6, it didn't give me that error) but after I dismiss the error screen, it does end up mirroring the screen via the HDMI kit. I called Apple and they said that older kits can give that error on OS6 but that it would still work fine and they are working on this error code not happening. But I don't know about non Apple kits.
