Help: iPad Air 2 Bluetooth connection issues

I can't pair/connect my Sony headphones with my iPad Air 2 when scanning for Bluetooth devices. The headphones they are not recognised when scanning. The headphones pair and work fine with my iPhone 6.
. I have not been able to pair anything with the iPad.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get my iPad's Bluetooth connecting??

Are the headphones currently paired with your iPhone? If so, unpair them from your iPhone then try again to pair them with your iPad. Let us know if that works.
