Just registered and thanks for providing such a resource.

I've downloaded the iPad manual for iOS 5 but it seems to only refer to the iPad 2 and mine is the original iPad. Is there a manual for this somewhere?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

This is the guide for both iPads for IOS5. The operating features are the same for both iPads, although the iPad 2 has the cameras. Below you will find a link for the different manuals, there are ipad1 manuals there but for the earlier system.
