It's all the fires I'm worried about - especially with the reports of idiots starting them deliberately. Our house is surrounded by woodland - so it's a particular concern to me....

We had this problem in SA and we lived on a farm so we were always creating fire breaks and putting out fires on neighbouring farms. If you've ever seen a fire jump from one fir tree to another tree metres high over a wide road, it is truly terrifying, luckily it went the opposite direction to us. I hate to see the countryside burnt due to negligence.
