Hello. New from NC

Hello. I just got my iPad 2 last week and so far, I'm loving it! I used the iPod 8GB 2nd generation for 2-3 years but I grew out of it so fast. When I decided I wanted the iPad, I heard there was a 2nd version on it's way out very soon. So...I impatiently waited on it and I'm glad I did. I like the sleek build and the clarity of the screen...though the reflections can be a bit bothersome. I bought the 64GB + Wifi + 3g. Some of the folks I work with asked why I got 3G. I told them because I hated not having that option on my iPod and could only use it where I could find Wifi. I haven't activated it yet but I'm thinking I will do so real soon because I want to be able to have internet access anywhere I go...including in my car when we travel. Can't wait to meet some of you and hear your iPad stories and all the cool things you can do with it.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

In my opinion, you made a wise choice going for 3G - now you can receive your email absolutely anywhere!! It's great to have you here - please let us know how you get on with your iPad...

Today it's sunny in Scotland, where I live - probably the only sunny day of the year!!
