SoCal, the OC, south OC to be exact! On vacay enjoying the vino. Are you a Northern boy? I went to UC Davis for a year so have had some good times up here! Btw, I don't know if you remember this, but I am the one who asked you what your former quote meant to you.

Nice and cool for you, Val! Fall would be a lovely time here. We've travelled up and down the valley and feeling very relaxed right now! Last stop was Domaine Carneros and the bubbles went straight to our heads! Sunday is our 23rd Anniversary, so dining at Oberge tomorrow night! Botox doesn't fix this kind of headache unfortunately!

Nope but my sister lives in frisco so I've had a few go rounds in Northern Cal. I didn't know we were such neighbors. I'm in LA county!!
And I do remember that but I didn't remember it being you ha!

That pic was taken at Frog's Leap winery. The place was like you were visiting a friend, sipping wine out in their wrap-around porch. They had a lovely garden and even a bean bag toss game out on the lawn.
Our favorite so far was Cakebread Cellars. Their 2010 Syrah is delicious! We bought out the last of it! We also had great port at Prager! Cakebread's Chardonnay is the best white. Prager'a Late Harvest Reisling is yummy as far as a desert wine goes. Domaine Carneros champagne was a bit too dry for our palate, but seemed to be popular for the other guests.

The vino is quite good! It is beautiful here and everyone is so friendly!

No! I don't think we will stay in AZ...but we will see. I think I'm outnumbered here, all you beach bums. I just wish my weather were nicer right now.
