This is Moaning Cavern. You go down through this narrow "chimney" and the all of a sudden, you're in the main chamber...the earth is 165' below! I was so afraid! Your on this itty bitty rope, dangling like a spider! Repelling against nothing! Fear!!! But I did it!

While not strictly speaking a phobia, I do find the thought of jumping out of an aeroplane absolutely terrifying.

I'm also terrified of jumping put of a plane, but since you thought of it first, I went with this:








...tidal waves - I'm deathly afraid of them! Or any very deep water, or very large waves

I actually did this! I had my big toe glued to the rock of the "chimney" until the bindings started hurting in the area that bindings can hurt!! Then it was a decision of pain or a quick fall to death!! Lol! Once, ONCE, I touched ground, it was exhilarating! But, NO, I am NEVER doing that again!!!

Agree...never jumping out of a plane OR being in a place where tidal waves can happen!!

They have this spiral staircase that goes up into the atmosphere! So you can climb that. People would fall into this hole (and animals) and would fall to their deaths. I was rather uncomfortable in the chimney part...yet, I'm thinking "I can do this!"... Then that chamber opens up....h e l p !! Apparently, the Empire State Bldg fits into the big chamber...um, yeah.... Scared!!!!!!!!
