Ouch, Val! We played with the paddle ball - got a whuppin' from the belt!! I had a china tea set also!!! I have a wicker set if chairs that I placed my tea set on. Don't have the tea set anymore, but I have the wicker chairs!! LolYou actually played with the paddle ball, Carolyn? My Mom used to remove the ball and use the paddle when we kids got out of hand. Man that thing hurt! Not a toy I wanted to remember, lol. I have a "china" tea set from Snow White. It is similar to this one. I think it is the only toy I have left. I don't save much. always be yourself, but if you can't be yourself, then be a pirate! GC: pristoph Level 53
I have my dad's "Exegesis of John 12:20-36" report from 1956 - his Divinity School report. My dad for sure kept school reports. Have them. Almost thru all of college. Pity the day I have to wipe out my fathers file's. Been trying to do that in the last year. Omg. Help meeeeeeeeee. Sent from my IPad using IPF. GC wenchwhino HD level 62
I can't believe I still have this stuff!! My mom told me when I moved out, take all my stuff! Each kid was told this! I even have my old school reports: I'll tell you the titles from two of them - "Rice may be Nice, But Wheat Is Neat!" and "The Silent World" (my brother is deaf). I know Haribo!! My sissy lives in Germany!! Have eaten many of those yummy gummies! I have these little toys - two are windups and one takes human effort to move! The cat rolls over because his tail rotates! The heli goes bonkers! The VW is cool cuz that was what my very first real car was! (That will be our Avi change, first car, after cute turtles!)
How do you still have this stuff?? I'm impressed you were able to! I've moved house so often this past 14 years and had to downsize so many times I have hardly anything at all from my past! Must be lovely to have an excuse to drag them out and show 'emGC: EyeC999 Level 91
It is fun to look at stuff from my past! My attic is big, so it's easy to put things up there. Having lived in this house for 21 years, it's filling up now!! Anthea, your toys reminded me of Wheel-o! I loved playing with this!I spent hours playing with both of these, not these actual ones, of course! Having moved continents twice, you end up leaving a lot of stuff behind. . Chumleyboo, level 78

Val, I'm hoping you might remember this toy: it had a ring you put your foot through. The ring had a rope maybe a foot and a half long. The other end of the rope had a plastic "bell shaped" red thing. You would swing your foot and that would make this thing go in a circle and with your other leg, you would "jump over" the rope. You would keep jumping over this circling thing. Do you know of this? Also, do you remember "Clackers"? They were two acrylic balls about the size of a large plum. They were connected by a rope. In the middle of the rope there was a place to hold. You would go up and down with your hand holding this and try to get the Clackers to hit each other at the top and at the bottom? They were banned because they would shatter sending sharp chards flying!I remember the wheel-o...hours of fun. it reminded me of how much fun we had shooting rubber bands at each other with our "finger guns"... Hope I can say that. always be yourself, but if you can't be yourself, then be a pirate! GC: pristoph Level 53
