And how do I know what's the name of someone's neighborhood that I want to join?? For example, if I want to join Carolyn's 'hood, how can I? I don't see where I can go to her farm and ask for an invite....and I don't know the neighborhood name...

That's true. For example it does not like SO, or any combination. If you have an S followed by an O, even with a space between, it will bleep those 2 letters. If you have so imbedded in a word, it will bleep it. Lots of stuff like that. It bleeps parts of lemons and nails. We started spelling them backwards: have you got any slian? Snomel are extremely unpredictable, and should be approached with extreme caution.

Well, I didn't realize I'd get booted out when I started my own neighborhood
Now I'm all alone in the cold, dark world....adrift in a heartless ocean of....of....um....OK, that's a bit too much pathos, but you get my drift!
Ugh, am hating this neighborhood thing! Now no one's around anywhere, cuz everyone's got a neighborhood!

I think that the way to handle 'hoods is for everyone to have their own, keep them open ie not invite only and have an open door policy. Pop in and out like real neighbors do. I really like the fact that you don't need to be GC friends with someone just to trade anymore. The visit button next to someone's name makes it much easier and faster to complete a trade with someone who's. To your neighbour. Jumping in and out is really easy too. I did some fantastic trades last night, met new people, had fun and didn't expand my GC list . This may work .

Well, I'll open it up like that and see....Thanks for the info. I'll try to keep an open mind and see where it goes. Perhaps we need another forum where we can post our neighborhood names? Lol!

After Olympics, we will do all things PIRATES!

So, get your country pride or inner athlete in gear and let's support the Winter Olympics!

When my son was about three, he came home from kinder one day shouting "ah hotties!" It took me a while to realise he was trying to say "arrrr me hearties!"
