Well, seems I missed a lot of stuff...went to bed so early last night (am a teensy bit sick). Carolyn, such a sad story, and so senseless Heartbreaking...

Donna, was all well with your honey? Lol, you mentioned "scary vitals", and then moved straight on to the Dr's football team, lol! I'm assuming he's alright then?

Am ready for the big game - as all around me the 12th man flags are a-flying, and there's not a soul outdoors not wearing a Seahawks article of clothing! In the grocery stores, tire stores, coffee stands - everywhere - there's a discount if you wear Seahawks stuff! . Love it! They are NUTS about the Hawks here. In two hours the streets, malls and stores will be deserted! Hubby is on his way home right now with the pizza and chicken wings, beer is chilling, and we're ready to go!!! GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!

Good thing your hubby doesn't have his doctor appointment tomorrow...! . Sorry for your Broncos. (Not too sorry if u can still see my SS avi....). If you need help covering any of your bets, let me know. Not that I have bolts, but I might have other stuff?? Wait! Actually, you owe ME bolts! Ha! But, since Kevie was covering for me (in case of a Broncs win), I dissolve the bolt debt to me. I'm sure others will follow suit because we are all so sweet here. Funny thing...my mom calls me at the start of half time... "I hope you're wanting Seattle to win!!!" With the cutest smile in her voice. Not that you want to hear that, but the cutest part is that my daddy was a football player. He played for USC. Sundays growing up were church first, football second. His vocation was as a minister. We would get home from church and the tv was immediately turned on to the game!! He would pace back and forth during a tight game and say "Oh, me!" (No cussing allowed!). I was his Sport kid. His sons were not interested nor my sis. I would sit next to him on the sofa ... but, if it was tight, the pacing began!!! . I will always cherish that time I spent with him. I don't play ball, but as you know, I'm a competitive swimmer ... my daddy's little athlete!! . He's been in Heaven for over 12 years now... and my momma still watches football. I always thought she hated football!!! THAT cuteness is off the meter in my book!!!

Glad the hubby is ok. Did his BP survive our beating? That was a terrible game, and now no more football for 6 months.

we hated it, in fact I quit watching, and my sister in Denver never wrote me back, sad day for her family.
Just so ticked it was not the game we thought it would be. Great defense from Seattle .
My opinion only, not too thrilled with half time entertainment.

Yes I thought the whole thing was awful, and the halftime and commercials were boring. I posted that on Facebook, and made a lot of Bruno Mars fans mad! The only thing I liked was the Budweiser commercial...

Ooh, you lucky thing! I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Would have much preferred if it was just them doing the Half Time Show! Well, I can't argue, that IS a "super" bowl!! I thought the commercials were less than thrilling, too...but my team was winning, so I'll forgive it this time! And usually I quite like Bruno Mars, but I wondered how he got away with the first song he sang, considering there were millions of kids watching? If we can't tolerate a nip-slip from Janet Jackson, how come it was alright to listen to Bruno sing about how much he enjoys "intimacy" with his girlfriend?!
