Fishing areas:

Shallow 1: dock, Shallow 2: barrel
Reed 1: waterfall, Reed 2: water lily
Deep 1: shipwreck, Deep 2: to the left of the shipwreck
Rocky 1: stream, Rocky 2: far left corner

Circle sizes comparison:


Small Circle, roughly 1cm wide.


Medium Circle, roughly 1.5cm wide.


Big Circle, roughly 2cm wide.



How to see if the fish is active or not:


It will try to escape to the point that the outer circle turns red. Be careful! This also means your fish is very close to escaping!
Many, if not all, of the rarest fishes have active movements and really hard to catch.

Pay attention to the fish movement--with the right lure, the right circle, the right fishing area and a dash of luck, you might find the fish you're looking for!

I got very excited yesterday, after battling a fish with a very small circle for ages, thought I was getting one of the rare ones, andit was a rudd. :9

The fish obviously do you think they named it after him?

Finally brook trout, green, small circle, rocky1, i thought i caught another rudd but it turned out brook trout, yayyy

Wow Tissa, impressive
So far i only managed to caught 4 gold size fish, copper redhorse, roach, yellow bass, and fall fish.
And im still missing 4 fish in my collections

Look what i caught today

Speckled dace, Gold lure, deep 1, small circle.

Funny thing is i didnt plan to fish, i just fished so i didnt miss a day for 28 days fishing achievement, i just use worm hoping to catch gold weight hunchen, but when i fished at deep2 spot, i saw fish look like golden trout jumped at deep 1, so i just used my gold lure hoping to catch the golden trout but got speckled dace instead, good thing its not rudd again

Same happened here, and I really haven't been fishing at all.. just thought I'd throw one in the water and this is what I got..

Speckled Dace / Gold lure / Silver weight / small circle (fighter) / Deep 1 (shipwreck)

I'm beginning to wonder if the time of day has anything to do with which fish can be caught.

I just threw in four random lures and caught two new fish and two gold weight fish??

I just caught my first speckled dace!!.. That was one of my new fish..
