Rockstar Games has today announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, will be released for the iPad on September 9th for $9.99/ £5.99/€7.99. The HD version of the smash hit iPhone/iPod touch, Sony PSP and Nintendo DS game boasts updated high-definition graphics, and features over 50 missions, countless side activities, intuitive Multi Touch user interface controls and the ability to customise the soundtrack with your own music via Independence FM.
The game’s storyline centres around an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate that takes place among the gang-ridden grisly and mean streets of Liberty City. Specifically, it follows the adventures of Huang Lee, a young Triad who travels to Liberty City after the mysterious death of his father. Each gripping mission offers thrilling, fast-paced action and the best gameplay elements of the Grand Theft Auto series specifically created with mobile gamers in mind.
