By Properly I mean, the iPAD detects the printer always.
But when I hit the print, it will either get stuck with the message "Connecting Printer..." for almost ever.
Or sometimes it will act as if the page was sent to the printer, clearing the screen, but nothing comes out of the printer.
BUT...
I installed HP iPrint, and I can print from the application - No problem.
So somehow the Hardware and drivers are working.
But AirPrint don't like me.
The HP Printer 8500A is on the list of AirPrint.
I am running 4.3.3 Not Jailbreak.
The printer is connected to the router in a physical cable.
All PC's at home print finer.
One of them is connected through WiFi.

Yes.
ePrint on the 8500A is ON

Well.
Seems that the Problem solved itself (for now).
I have the printer for 5 days now, and I think I never restarted it, since it was connected to the router.
So I turned it off and on again - now it printed a letter from my iPad mail. As well as a PDF page from iBook.
I am reading that it is best to set up a static IP address for the printer.
I'll do just that as well.

I have had a similar problem and setting a static IP address for the printer fixed it. It seems as though AirPrint gets an IP address for the printer but somewhere deep inside the software it never seems to figure that this address might change....:(
