Gmail not pushing me new emails

I have my iPad mail app configured with gmail with push enabled and it's not working. Push works on my imac and nexus one but not the iPad. I there anything I can do ?

Having the same issue...Except on mine, nothing but Facebook pushes. No mail, anyways..what gives?

Did you set it up using the gmail option or exchange? Exchange works much better with push notifications.

Im not sure what exchange is. Doesn't that not work with gmail?

I tried setting up gmail via exchange and it kept telling me incorrect password after it already accepted my setup and password.

How do you get facebook to push???
