I'm a web content manager and a "geek", though I am a woman and 61 years old.
I love my iPad and enjoy finding new things to do with it...though most of my apps are free.

And despite those lamenting the loss of literature, I love curling up with my good iPad!

I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Welcome aboard! One of our best friends, Cindy, lives in Perth! (We met when we both lived in New Zealand.) Her daughter lives a couple of K's from us. Cindy spent the last month as our guest while her daughter gave birth to her first grandchild. (It didn't take a month...but "Tadi" wanted to be here for the fun ).

Cindi has an iPhone but had never used an iPad...until now. After the first time she picked ours up my wife and I had a hard time prying it from her hands and had to double check her luggage to be sure she wasn't going to abscond with it. She's planning on getting one in the very near future. Send me a PM if you'd like her info!

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

The literature is still there, but its just in a different format. I am reading now more than I ever did with "ink on paper" books.
