Are you accessing Facebook through the app or are you using the website version?

I am using safari and or dolphin as my browser

Try using the Facebook app and see if the videos play. The problem with using the website version of Facebook to watch the videos is that the iPad does not support Flash.

Did you tried using Opera Mini. Hope it palys videos non website version.
