Hello All,

I finally cracked and decided to get an Ipad. Went with the Ipad3 32gb Wi-Fi in black, which was tough to find for a while there.

Anyways other than a 20gb click wheel ipod from about 10 years ago, this is my only apple product.

Does anyone have like a quick and dirty...."Top 10 things you need to know" type tutorial?

Also I downloaded an app called gtalk (I believe this is the name im at work and dont have the Ipad with me). My question is there anyway to keep this program in the pulldown notification area so i can quickly get back to it while talking to friends?

Thanks!

Hello IceZ - welcome to the forum! :)

Well, my first suggestion is for you to obtain the iPad User's Guide - check HERE for a free download as a PDF file (obtain iBooks from the app store as a PDF reader; I also use Goodreader for that purpose).

Also visit the Apple App store and obtain AppStart & AppAdvice - this should get you started!

In addition, look through the various sub-forums and try the search functions - plenty of info already available here!
