Email address contacts deletion

Hi there, I'm new to forums but am looking for some help! I have sent emails from my iPad to email addresses that I don't want to see again. They are not saved in contacts but when I send a new email every address that I've ever sent to shows up. I'd like to remove these, anyone know how?

Unfortunately, you've run into a helpful Apple feature that isn't.

There is no way to remove those e-mail addresses. All you can do is keep ignoring them. Maybe you could send a comment to Apple, but I don't know if that'll help, either. It's been a "feature" since the iPad first appeared (and has survived through 3 major software changes).

You now join the long list of people who are irritated at this "quirk" of the e-mail addressing. We've all hoped for an update/solution to this, but to no avail. At least you now know you're not alone, right?
