New to this forum. If I downloaded some books in ePub format how do I get them onto my iPad2. Just via iTunes? Thanks

There's no problem in downloading them directly to your iPad using 3G or WiFi - using a third-party app such as GoodReader. You can then open them in whatever ePub reader you have installed. Alternatively, if you've got them on your PC, GoodReader can transfer them directly to the iPad over USB or WiFi without the need to involve iTunes.

Check out GoodReader at the App Store - it gets universal recommendations from users and it can do a whole load more too.

However, if you have a lot of books(and in my case 100's) iTunes would be easier. I right clicked on the book/s and dragged it into the books section on iTunes and then synched iPad to iTunes and it synched the books to my iPad. Epub is alright on iBooks, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.
