Dumb Question - how do you tell and iPad 2 from an iPad 3?

As the subject says... I don't know which I have? How can I tell? SerNo or something?

Go to Settings - General. iPad 3 has Siri. If you iPad hasn't, it's iPad 2.

Actually if your iPad version is under 6.0 you dont have Siri although it is iPad 3.

You can look at the model number to identify your iPad. See the link below on the apple site.

BOY - this is nearly a 3 y/o thread - the iPad 2 is 'ancient history' (I owned one bought in 2011) - although the newest iOS (i.e. 9.x) can run on this 'dinosaur,' the next operating system will likely not - so time to move on w/ these questions - Dave
