downloading stopped

I was downloading some video podcasts, then tried to update six apps when the downloading process stopped completely. I "rebooted" the iPad then tried again with no luck. Not sure what to do next. Anyone had this problem?

Just wanted to add that nothing will "install", when you try to download a new app or update current ones.

Problem resolved on its own.

What I didn't understand was how huge the video podcast files were, I.e. around 450MB. So understandably it could take an hour or more to download several. I just did not wait long enough for the process to complete.
