Downloading podcast

Would like iTunes to automatically download podcast and sync them to the iPhone I'm going to get soon.... Is there way to do this?

If you subscribe to the podcast in iTunes it will download each episode onto your pc as it becomes available, you can then sync with your iPhone. Or you could download the podcast app onto your iPhone and again subscribe through the app and the episodes will download onto your phone.
