All of my desktop shortcut icons have an[ @ HTTP ] on them.I have no idea what i did
to make this happen.

That is both strange, and not. They are at heart just links that open Safari to a specific site, so HTTP is probably somewhere in their description; but it shouldn’t have suddenly showed up in their icon labels.

Try restarting the iPad (hold down the Power button untl the (slide to power off) shows, and turn it off. After the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button for about three seconds, or until you see the Apple Logo.

If the lables still show @HTTP, the only thing I can think of is to recreate the shortcuts. There is no way to edit the lables after the shortcut has been created.
