A couple of conflicting reports have arisen following the leak last week of internal AT&T documents by hacking group LulzSec, who were responsible for the Sony and U.S. government hacks over the past 50 days. Both Boy Genius Report and 9to5 Mac reported that one section of the AT&T documents, dating back to November 2010, seemed to point to the fact that AT&T may well be in the process of testing an LTE iPad. However, since those stories broke, MacRumors has followed up with a report of its own on the matter, in which it says that a forum member from iFans, the site that first broke the news about possible LTE-iPad testing from AT&T, has studied the documents further and found that the iPad references were actually nothing to do with LTE support for the iPad, and were in fact referring to AT&T “moving iPad traffic first over to this new billing and traffic shaping platform.â€
