I don't have other devices except my iPad and laptop. I never have uses for it and drains my battery.

I have two iPads, partly synced, and completely backed up by iCloud. No battery drain.

I rely on iCloud, would be lost without it. The batteries on my iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 4 last over 30 hours with moderate use.

iCloud is the easiest way for me to back up my iPads and iPhone, and battery life is just fine on all three. In fact, I wouldn't even care if it did drain the battery, since my data is being backed up and seamlessly made available on all devices.

Very useful for activating new devices and resetting old ones.

Sent from my Black 64GB Fifth Generation iPod touch using iPF
