Different chargers

I have both a new Ipad 3 and an old Ipod touch. Would anything bad happen if I used my Ipad charger on my ipod touch? Vice versa, the Ipad just charges more slowly.

I plug my iPod into my iPad 3 charger all the time and nothing has happened to the iPod. Even Apple says that using the iPad charger on iPhone and iPod is fine.

This. I use my iPad 3 charger on my iPod Touch with no problems.
