Difference between splashtop and airvideo?

Cn anyone tell me the difference between the two regarding watching videos and listening to music.
Which do you prefer, and why?

Splashtop is for remote desktop, airvideo is dedicated to video streaming

If i want to control my desktop, i use splashtop, if i want to watch movies, i use airvideo
