Deleting iPad pictures

How do I delete pictures that were created on the iPad? Like when you press the home key and the on switch at the same time to take a pic of what is on the screen.

Open the Photos app. View the picture full sized. It should be in the Saved Photos album. Tap on it and a bar with a share and trashcan icon will appear at the top. Use the trashcan.

If you've got more than one to delete you can just swipe left or right through them. There is also a little scroll bar thingy at the bottom that will let you move through them faster.
