Deleting ebooks

My wife has downloaded many ebooks using the Kindle app. She has books from Amazon as well at the county library. The Amazon books are also stored in the Cloud. How can I remove them from the device? They will still remain in the cloud if she wants to read them later. Thanks

Hi, welcome to iPF!

Tap and hold the book you intend to delete from your Kindle app, until "Remove from device" appears, then tap it.
