iTunes not accepting my debit card of icici bank by saying payment method declined

I use a credit card and iTunes gift cards. I never tried using a debit card.

I've done some research and everything I've seen indicates that AXIS BANK debit cards are the only debit cards iTunes accepts in India.

Maybe they don't have debit card's number code on their list. It's funny that wont accept your cash payment. I hope they'll set payments for credit and debit cards.

They accepted my father's credit card but I don't have a credit card of my own

Have you thought about using iTunes gift cards for making payments for apps, music, etc.?

They wouldn't take my debit card from Lloyds uk.
