Data SIM Card Compatability

Can I use my Giffgaff data SIM card in a cellular iPad in the absence of WiFi for web browsing. Posts from the Giffgaff community indicate that I can. This would be for infrequent light usage. This information is required prior to an iPad purchase.

I would have thought so. When I first bought my original iPad some years ago when I didn’t have WiFi I simply bought 3 monthly prepaid SIM cards and they worked very well.
