Connecting to Verizon

I just bought my first iPad, I got the 2 -32gb with 3g for verizon. I originally wanted the wifi only to save a few bucks but 3g was all that was available on the release day and I was too inpatient to wait any longer.

Anyway, May be a stupid question but do I need the mifi from verizon just to connect to the internet using 3g? If so why do they even make a 3g version for Verizon could you just connect to the mifi using a wifi only version?

Any info possible will be helpfull.

Correct. No mifi needed

Use 3G. Sign up on your iPad2

Go to Settings >> Cellular Data, and View Account. It should walk you though activating a plan.

You don't need the mifi. It's internal.

I just got off the phone with Verizon. They said my 32gb+3g+black unit should ship tomorrow. I asked them if they still had 3g units in stock and the rep said yeah.
