Church Attendance on iPad

Is there a good way to take attendance on an iPad? I would like to see one where the seating is laid out on screen with the names in the general area where people sit. Touching their name would check in a spread sheet that they are present and would capture that data in a spreadsheet.

There are a number of attendance trackers in the app store, and many will export to excel format files.

There's even an attendance template for Numbers, but it won't do seat layout.
