Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Folders on the iPad have an icon that reflects the contents of the folder. So, if you put a couple of apps into a folder, the cover will show a background that contains sub-miniature app icons. Unless you jail break your iPad, there is no way of editing either app icons (they are what the app developer decided) or a folder icon. You can, however, edit the name of a folder - to make it something more memorable.

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

Yep, Tim's right. Unless you jailbreak (and do yourself a favor by reading up on jailbreaking before attempting) there is no way to change the default folder images.
