Can't sync itunes to ipad 2 - error message

Am having trouble syncing my PC to my ipad2.

I am getting 2 types of error messages. The syncing starts but eventually it stops and I get one of the following 2: syncing has "timed out" or the "device is not attached." It is most definitely attached!

I just purchased a movie thru iTunes and wanted to download from my PC to the ipad. But I keep getting one of the two error messages. The movie is definitely listed in my PC iTunes movie library.

Any advice would be most welcome!

I had this problem when I first got my iPad 2. Whenever I had a book setup to sync it would give me an error like this. I just did a restore and the problem went away. Hope this helps.
