Can't login to Facebook

I am ready to give up! Please someone help.
I have had my ipad since aug. of 2012. I can't login to Facebook using the app or safari. I've tried everything I know and still no luck. I either get the 502 error or time out. I have been lucky maybe 4 times and it worked. I've done nothing different on those attempts as I do any other time. What's wrong with my ipad?!

Trying to connect over 3G? Wifi? VPN? Using a Proxy server?
