Cannot connect to Itunes Store

I'm trying to run a game but keep getting "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"
how do I get past this problem...

Can you provide more information please.

A game designed to be played on an iOS device is purchased from the "App Store" not iTunes. Once the game is purchased, it is downloaded to the device for play by the user.
It's my experience that interface with the "iTunes Store" is not required.

Try again. The App Store was having problems for some users today.
