Can you tell me how to download from a memory stick?

Wife has 1500 books downloaded and wants them on iPad 2.

Assuming they're already in PDF or EPUB format, you have to bring them into iTunes first and then sync to your iPad.

Or into Calibre where you can convert them as desired and sync to iPad.
