.Can password be changed that unlocks iPad

After sliding arrow to right then a password is needed to unlock iPad.
I seen 4 dots so I only used a 4 item password and later I found I could use many more.


Is there anyway to change the password?

There certainly is. Go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode> Change Passcode>Passcode Options and follow the instructions to change your passcode. You can choose between 4 or 6 digit numeric passcode or a longer alphanumeric passcode.
