Hi chaps, yet another simple Q. This one should be a quickie! Not like my last thread!

Ok simply thus: I have a diddy 16mp sony camera, old'ish, uses SD card.

I also have a lightning > usb 2.0 adaptor cable, female ( unused, can't recall why I bought it).

Q: if I buy a SD card into usb male adaptor thingy.. will the 3 things (ipad, adaptor cable, SD card adaptor thingy) work together?

Or will I go into like a time portal whatnot?

This is what you want. The Apple branded adapters tend to work best, but I’ve had good luck with others as well (e.g. Belkin.

thanks- yes I saw the genuine ones, expensive. Will note the belkin one.

But what I was asking is in effect, whether there's any reason an adaptor -into- another adaptor (then into the ipad) wouldn't work..?

I guess its 'dunno.. just buy one & see', but anyway.

Your plan might work, but I’ve never tried.
