Breeding the Emerald Dragon on DragonVale

I have tried the crystal and lichen combo a lot of times! Any other suggestions?

Try using fresh dragons, sell your old set of lichen and crystal dragons and breed new ones

I've only just managed to breed the emerald dragon today. If it won't hatch til the 1st June will I loose it??
