Books app question

When I read an iBook, it's common for pages to fly by, backwards or forwards. Is there any way to lock a page while I'm reading it,then to unlock it to allow it to advance?

Never heard of this behavior. All I can suggest is keeping you fingers away from the viewing area as it doesn't take much to flip the pages.

Maybe try deleteing the iBook app and re-installing it? Maybe that'll help!

Thank you for your suggestion. I finally followed directions to go to settings, keyboard, international, and now it is simply part of he keyboard, placed to the left of the space bar. It is now fun to apply it
