I personally find black electonics dull and lifeless, hence my white iPad preference, coupled with the blue SC. Blue and white together is light and airy looking to me. Black is just depressing.

All a matter of preference.
I find the black with a black smart cover stealth and cool.
Whenever I put my red one on, let the devil come out and play. Nothing looks cooler than the black wit a red smart cover. Nothing!!!

So, some like light and airy, some like stealth and devilish.

That's a matter of opinion. I have white and it completely diappears to me when watching YouTube or Netflix, etc.

Okay since I was one of the first people to get my hands on the iPad 2's and had about 85 of them the first week it came out since my friend owns a radioshack I had time to check out which one I liked first of course I went with black.

I just ordered a white iPad (it hasn't arrived yet). I was all set to get the black until I saw them side-by-side at Best Buy. I surprised myself, but I actually like the white better. For me, it just depends on what it is. I would never buy a white car, but the iPad2...definitely the white.

I have a black but really don't care either way. I did have someone with the first iPad that told me if you read alot of books, the white will tire your eyes faster. I'm pretty sure that's just one man's opinion.
