Just some thoughts on buying city credits: I have spent $10 on the game early on and none for the past 6 months. I am at level 60 and soon to be at 61. I have on several occasions considered purchasing but did not. I pride myself on being in contention on achievements, accuracy and experience. Soon I will have enough friends to be in the top 250. I cannot compete in the luxury category because that takes real money to get there. I think the port is a great thing because you can earn the city credits and if you are patient you will move up the standings. I have to keep telling myself that because it is so slow going at times but with the port, I think everyone has a new perspective on the game. It's no longer an individual game, but a team game for those on the forum. I know I have not been able to support in lipstick and thickener, but soon I will be able too. I have given about 20 things to others for their ship and continue to scan friends for more opportunities to give. Good luck to you all.

I am not sure if late has better odds of getting gold anchor but FYI I got a gold anchor and still had over 9 hours left for departure. Also I got a bronze from filling friends ship and it was not the last item for there ship. So I am guessing its GI's ole saying it's a game of luck?

Ha ha - and luck is hard to come by.......
 
Mickeyville - is it you, I owe for the last 2 lipsticks?

Someone just filled the last 2, and in 50 minutes we leave port....
Hope to avoid those 3 "killers" on the next call (components, lipstick and thickener)

Hm - this game never cease to amaze me.
Next ship in 6 hours will need:

-Fur, which is no problem
-Cheesecakes, check
-and - another set of lipsticks. Hope you guys can help out again, really appreciate it. I spend no money on this game, and with your help, I really am getting somewhere! Thanks for all the support so far!
