Newbie here. Looking at a purchase of one of the special buildings: sombrero, bakery, or waffle house. Can someone tell me what is needed to create their items? I usually save my cash for the special happiness buildings, but have some $ burning a hole in my pocket. It has been interesting reading the posts. Sorry to report that socal is enjoying 75 (24 c) degree days.

I was disappointed that i will not get enough wrenches to win the plow award... I did not participate in the cocao or kefir, as i was at disneyland with the family.

I have been playing for 4 months and am level 46. Name: ceo nelson city: junkerton

I'd go for the bakery. Easy to pump out money making pies and you need it to make croissants for an achievement.

Guys, there was a question about Milk Shop vs Sweet Waffle Cafe. I own both plus Sombrero Restaurant, and I am going to post some calculations, here, so you can decide for yourself what is more suitable for you.

First, the cost of the ingredients.

Grain 60
Milk 260
Sugar cane 60
Polyethylene 210
Eggs 280

Dough160
Sugar 120

The actual cost of production

Dough = 160 + 2 grain (120) + milk (260) = 540
Sugar = 120 + sugar cane (60) + 2 poly (420) = 600

Tortilla 1200
Waffle 1300
Ice cream 1500

The actual cost of production

Tortilla = 1200 + 2 dough (1080) + 2 eggs (560) = 2840 (15 min)
Waffle = 1300 + 2 dough (1080) + 2 sugar (1200) = 3580 (20 min)
Ice cream = 1500 + 3 eggs (840) + 2 milk ( 520) = 2860 (15 min)

PROFIT

Tortilla 9920 - 2840 = 7080
Waffle 9100 - 3580 = 5620
Ice cream 6200 - 2860 = 3340

I use 2 confectionary plants and 2 ranches to produce tortillas every 30 min. My third ranch pumps milk. When my plants are busy with something else (muffins, fruit cakes, special orders etc), I use my milk shop.

I make waffles only when I have extra sugar, that means rarely. There are extra steps in producing sugar and, most importantly, tortillas are more profitable.

I came home from a long day (with a very nasty cold, might I add) at my weekend part-time job to find enough Billboard in my gift box to help me reach the Superstar achievement!!! Yay!! Thanks so much guys....you rock!! That just made all the pain and misery of my day at work go away Time to curl up in my pjs in bed, drink some hot tea, watch tv and play BB all night! Ahh....Saturday night

I'm stoked for the Gonzaga game. That's my team, used to live in Spokane. I've got the Oregon vs St Louis game on. Hoping for an upset and it's looking pretty good.

I have 24 furs, hope I can place. I only need 1 more medal. Once I can finish these population achievements I can get my factories out of storage and hopefully place in the top 3 for that achievement. It's a long shot though.

I am a teacher...during the week. I work a part-time job on the weekends and some nights during the week as well. Gotta pay the bills :-/
