Question, even if you don't make the top 100 in the challenges does it place you ?

I find that my game play changes, sometimes I will just make random stuff to make money sometimes I will try focus on a task. I don't have much money in game so I look at something I was to upgrade then produce and sell until I have upgraded. I don't want too many things that are half upgraded just because I can get them things doesn't mean I need them. Not long until my main buildings are fully upgraded apart from the warehouse, admin and garage.

If I have lots of time to play I will produce small timed items and if I plan to be away for a while I'll do the long timed items. Nothing worse when you have an hour to spare and nothing to do in game because of waiting for something to produce.

Before I go bed I aim to have at least 3 things upgrading so its all ready for when I wake up....

Also I always go to every neighbour to do the tasks on there towns, I do this every day without fail.

Just a touch of spring for everyone.

Which achievement? The 7 mil? Yes I got 2.5 but was doing some must needed upgrades. So now back to building the bank account up.
Just bored on a Sunday afternoon. And can I just say to the person who fell asleep staring at your iPad. I sleep with mine under my pillow in case I wake up I can hop on to collect rainbows and collect from busses. Lol. I know I need to get a life.

Wow your working the 7 mil. I was thinking smaller, referring to the beaver buddy one (15 logs)

And under your pillow? I have it on my night stand lol. We just can't let it go can we.

You learn nothing if you don't make the 100. I'm thinking GI should maybe extend the range to 200 depending upon how many players try out.

Lol I sleep with my ipad too haha

Mainly cuz I charge it thru the night and my plug is at the top of my bed so I rest my ipad under my pillow.. Often wake up with it open on the game lol

I charge my iPad in the kitchen. Which often causes me to get the 'silly woman' look from my husband. The last thing I do after brushing my teeth, but before I go to bed... Guess what? Yes, play some BB especially now with the hunt for rainbows!

I've only had the ipad for a few weeks and I'd be lost without it .... We've become very close lol

Looks very rural where you are. I like it. I cooked up 3eggs from a guy the next street over who raises chickens, and had toast with jam from a local blueberry farm. Nothing like fresh wholesome ingredients for a meal while I play my game with the best of friends from the forum.

Nice, I like the island. Do cruise ships visit there? I cruise every year, but have not done a European one yet. Thinking of one though.

I'm not sure you want just all the short ones. Leaves too many breaks in the layering. If rooms are small, it might not matter. But I would still make a stink about it. Ask for a discount and say now you have too many butt end sand not enough overlaps. Or just have them take the whole palette back for exchange. I have Brazilian cherry floors and they are great ! Really hard and tough to scratch. Mine was commercial grade so has like 6 or 8 coats of finish on them to last a lifetime. I have the narrower ones 2 or3 inch wide.

Can you share a pic of your progress? I am a DIY kinda guy too. Now a days all my projects are outside. Here is my machine that I use.

Wow, that blue thing is supercool. You must have quite a few acres if you need something like that.

Yeah, I definitely don't want only the short ones; the flooring guy said they would probably replace the damaged wood after looking at he pictures (their site was down so I haven't submitted them yet). They want me to open every friggin box and look through.
I usually take pictures for posterity when we are doing stuff, I will take a few tomorrow, maybe post one.

Well, I managed to collect 57 rainbows and produce 112 berries so far. I would not bother with berries if I had time to actually play and produce something more valuable today.

Hey all, had to take a break for about 5 hours to play a different game with friends. Still managed to produce 106 berries so far today. If I am perfect on updates, I can get in 13 more batches in or 104 more today. Sadly, I'm sure even if I do, 210 isn't enough for top 3, let alone first place. Oh we'll, lots of cash.

Only at 25 rainbows. At this rate, I get 1-3 per full energy bar or 40 hours of game play or Wednesday night.

Unsolicited advice to newbies: don't fall in love with / buy all the shiny new buildings that come up. Particularly those that take different types of trucks. Dairy may be too good to pass up, but if I had to do it over again, at this stage all I would have is a food processing plants, farms, ranches, dairy factories and weaving factories. Take a look at the wiki folks have worked hard to put together. You can look at the buildings, their inputs and such there.

I know folks have said this over and over, but it's a long thread and I think it's worth repeating.

I am trying to get the achievements done. I hate having them incomplete. Am at 70% of the general ones. It bugs me that I have quests on the left side not done. But I need to upgrade some factories and they are costing 700,000 and up now so I have them on hold for now.

The mine is a good one. Just set and gather. You don't need anything just the trucks. But you need them for the granite,etc anyway.i usually have the furniture factory making chairs which is quick and easy.

I have the furniture factory too, but got obsessed with building night stands. Very expensive and hard to keep at full capacity. From an efficiency standpoint, I think it's easier to eliminate the need for wood trucks, but I do like the variety myself.
