Big Business - game discussion

I have all my windmills and solar maxed out. Try killing off your houses to get the electricity back to add more factories.

I can kill houses for sure. I can't add any more factory till my happiness reaches 418000. So I need more ent. Buildings but not enough space to make any progress towards that. Oh well patient is key that what a buddy did! Perseverance :)

By achievements do you mean those tasks on the left? I havedone like 6 of those in last 2 days without receiving any credits. Are you supposed to get credits every time?

Player name: Netdancer. City name: Freezone. lvl. 30. from SoCal in US
Not those but actual achievements didnt get rewards for the 80 percent achievement or another achievement and both worth a lot of city credits. These are the only two I know about. Usually don't pay that much attention just assumed I was getting them. Not all achievements give credits.

How do I help friends fill their ships? Haven't seen any way of helping. Do I have to be finished with my port first?

You do not have to finish the port. On your friends you will find a little gold icon. Go to their port and click on the yellow box. The items that you can fill are highlighted with a little gold icon. Good luck.

Argggggh u think 300 sugars will get in the 100. So done with making sugar. It's a lot of clicking especially the polyethylene every 2 minutes. Sucks I need those silvers to get out of the bridge mess.

I didn't even try the special building or for that matter the daily contest. I am concentrating on getting city credits so I can buy electricity. I am in a deficit situation and can't squeeze anything else to get electricity. I destroyed all the low happiness buildings so my admin building I at 178/202. Should be ok for a while except for the fact I can't buy anything. I think I can get 5 to 7 city credits a week. So in about 20 weeks I can buy the big power plant. Isn't that a nice thought for those who do not spend real money on the game. I am fighting GI for 10 city credits and my ET is almost done, so hopefully in a short while I will have 50 city credits to buy something or wait it out for the big power plant. Any suggestions?

I am with you on this one Jekstrom.
My strategy is now to maintain my 152.000 happiness, freeing up some of my scarce 13.000 electricity. I am forced to look into happiness / electricity factor. There, the eiffeltower is a killer: 11.000 happiness for 1.100 electricity. That is a mere 100 happiness per electricity. From the waterpark, I get 7.600 for 160 - that is 475 happiness per elctricity.

So, I will now spend some of my hardearned city credit on more building storage, getting the full range (maybe except the electronics factory at first) and having them fully upgraded. Will focus on filling the ship, hopefully with VIP from time to time. Taking the competition from time to time, earning silver medals - those special buildings are great for happiness/electricity factor.
I will also slowly start the attack on the hydro plant - will take me some time though (assume a couple of weeks).
Will start upgrading a tennis court later today - but will need a lot of tools in the coming period from you guys - especially hammers.

Have luckily kept some of the "roadbuilder" achievement, so making an achievement at the Hydroplant should be easy.

For the under 11 level, I will hijack one of the kids, and install the game "for them".

By filling ships, I should get some good credit to justify the investment. Also approaching the 80% achievement, which will give me 25 credits, so the power plant might also be within range - and with that electricity I will become a monster.

But for now: get the high end factories up and running - getting my warehouses loaded with some of their goods, then pickingnthe production lines, which is needed for the vessel - and cherrypicking contest for silvermedals at hand for special buildings, when it fits my vessel strategy.
Placed in the last 3 competitions, and should place today with a little over 200 sugars. Then I have 8 silver medals, and 2 days to place for the last 2 I need for the Arc.
When I get the Arc, I get 1.800 happiness for 50 electricity. That will allow me to destroy 4 donut cafes at 370 happiness - still giving me a plus of 320 happiness. It will also save me 4* 35 electricity = 140, so I free up 90 electricity by this.

Thanks for all the great input here.
On stage 4 of the port, and could use a couple of hammers.
I maxed out gifts today, but I'll pay you back tomorrow!

Great plan, got my third city credit from the port tonight. Probably thanks to you.

Sweet I was worried my 300 sugars wouldn't get me in the 100 so I am at 400 now. Phew I so badly need to get out of this -6/3 medal mess I am in for the bridge. 2 medals at a time then yeah I can get my hammer :)
