I have set up all the factories and I am preparing to upgrade the warehouse so I can upgrade the mine. The only factories missing are the radio and electronics factories. I got the VIP as something to do with a special factory that probably cost 100 city credits. I got 1 city credit today for sending out a full load from the port.

Any idea what these anchors do? Perhaps they give you more time to fill the containers?

They are needed to upgrade the port. You get one of the three for sending out a full ship.

I never would've guessed. It says, " fill this container" so I thought a person filling a container can get an anchor. Something akin to getting a pump for cleaning/repairing. Silly me.
So, you collect a certain amount of specific anchors and then click on "upgrade for resources?" How many?

This is exactly what happens in my game. Nothing for over a day, then two drops inside 20 minutes. It's like there's a time release on these things.

Sorry it's my fault spamming them lol jk. But I tell you what they must be getting slammed with complaints from people not getting there safes to my issue of silver medals going backwards. I really like this update and hope they resolve the issues.

Great - I am also working on garage and mine now. Have 4 upgrades to do on the mine - but then my radio factory will start - at least I can make cables. If I want to go further up the ladder then, I will need a chemical plant as well, wich will be the next project. But, in a weeks time, I should be able to deliver cables.
I spent 3 credits on the last motor oil - to fill my ship. Got 1 credit for it, as well as a bronze anchor. Not perfect business - but het: this is an emotional game
Thanks to all, who helped me with the thickener. Today I stand no chances, as this is the cosmetics and chemical "tree" I am going out of - so if you guys have any preferences to go for selfless, just let me know, and I will ask for that.
