Big Business - game discussion

QUESTION: on the ET task where it asks for chisels and workers can I have the workers already trained or does it expect me to do them once I'm on the task?

I very cleverly 'fixed' the work rota haha, both me and my partner work in a bar/restaurant he is a kitchen manager and I work on the bar. The children are off school for a 2 week Easter break and although we normally work around the children and do opposite shifts, my partner rotated himself normal shifts so I was unable to work normal work pattern and when my rota was to be written we said ' oops' ;) so I have had 4 off 2 on then 4 off then 2 on then 4 off again lol

Devious but genius. Does your partner play BB?

Thanks Kel, but I think given the past, these events run 7 days. Our first assignment was only 3 days, for me that was like noon on Friday. So I suspect the next one will start then, mon at noon or about 7am your time. Get a good night sleep so (lol) so you can (LOL) find time to play at work in the rest room. I am sorry I could not resist

Could be in May. BB is a Russian game, remember? The Eastern Orthodox Church celebrates Easter on May 5 this year. So... Lol or no lol? That is the question.

Oh my word. I thought it was 15 avocados, and that's the end of the achievement. It's going to take a long time to get to level 5. They're trying to get us to spend money for double decker buses aren't they?

Avocado achievement tops out at 400! Taken me months even with 15 Double Deckers to complete! Desperately need Heart Flowerbeds and Fountains for 400 free gifts.

Why do so many top players rely on Confectionary Plants? I always thought Food Plants complement the Farms. Any hints? I want to shift directions whilst I have the coins to do so. Thanks.

One of the reasons people tend to build multiple confectionary plants, in my opinion, is the goods needed for the contests. Fancy uber-factories are not utilized (to encourage participation). Multiple farms, confectionaries and dairies on the other hand...

@ Gab - he thinks these games are pointless waste of time lol

@ summer - may is like 4 weeks away ... Frustrating theory :(

Agreed. Personally I have maxed out at 6 confectionary plants, the only plants I have 10 of are Farms, Ranches, and Dairies. Still got a cottage cheese addiction despite multiple attempts at rehab!

Like the Nightstand as a side production line and Sushi Rolls as well.

Today's competition is a great example, it is hard maxing out more than six confectionary plants whilst making the components which are both farm based.

I got an avo today, now at 19/25 for avo lover ach lvl 2. So is that lvl 3 of achievement 75? What happened to 50?

Level 3 is 75!! This will not be an easy task without an investment in double deckers... I have 5, they also give a good cash return, but it cost hard earned cash, I'm with Ken wait fro those 3 x before splashing out.

I've been wondering if the Mexican restaurant uses them to make guacamole?

Hey Ken,
I like the furniture and sawmill when I can set the mills and refinery for the 3 hour tasks and get a nightstand out of the varnish and plywood. As an unretired (guy and one who formerly slept) I would set them to end at my lunch and overnight. The timber slab to couch thing is not bad. I feel like a terrible purchase, and it cost me earned cash, was the pharmacy! I have really enjoyed the output of the bakery (apple pie!). The amount of effort I have to put into the apple pie is minimal.

41 & driving my wife crazy by playing games!

Ha ha love the diskussion on wives or partners and their understanding of playing BB!

My husband tease me sometimes about the game, but.... he likes to play PS3 :-) (I'm 37 and he's 43)

And for the record - Danes have a great sense of humour and so do the Dutch. I know, my husband is Dutch ;-)

I compete very well in the daily contest that are dairy related because I have 9 ranches that will produce at least meat and 5 dairy factories that can produce at least sour cream so I don't have many confectionary plants, 1 currently at maximum level. I have the more costly factories but they mostly sit in storage collecting dust. The food proceeding plant is the most used for lasagna and juice.
